Team news
Barki - Are still tough to beat and are keen to sign on loan defender Fargan Roenels from FER on a full-time basis. He has slotted in perfectly alongside veteran Vernie McCollough.
Bondard – Andy Rayne blamed his keeper Pete Mason for a ridiculous rush that left him out of position and allowed Varmonde to score, he said “I am not worried about my strikers coz they will improve in time but my defence is letting me down on occasion.”
Carnavale – Jeff Hasson says his team has benefited form the exodus at the end of the season. “We lost several big players but the youth have stepped in, we have the most promising youngsters at the club right now. We can finish in the top 4.
Celcostene – The club are choosing to stay at the confluence stadium and will refurbish it during the season. The club is reporting a profit of st.12m
Celdical – Luis Canivega believes that his form will be crucial determining Celdicals title hopes. “It’s all down to me, we need someone with something extra and I fit the bill.” Modesty.
FER – Paul Caelgin has been the most exiting player this season and will keep Mico Foncisello out of the team. Trevor Willis said “He is a definite starter for every game and the others have to fit around him.”
Garth – Crashed to Lobby at the weekend but Rene Herdow thinks his team are a lot better than that. “They were lethal in the first 15 minutes, but we can bounce back. Garth are now candidates for relegation.
Kemojoran – Marcel Carimo thought the 3-3 draw at the weekend was a fair result. “These are the two clubs I love the most, it was basically a fair result and I have no problem with it, I wish them well.”
Lobrinetonia – Atuk Rehman is gunning for another contract after his explosive performance at Garth. Cory Stevens believes that the midfield will score most of the teams goals. Sasha Stevens believes this could be his last year in football or might rejoin CPR where he is still a legend and seen as a future manager.
Mariners – Away form is costing Pintare and he is hinting he might have two separate teams for home and away.
Ortovyde – Tristan Gray believes Keron Larkowitz is a perfect partner for him. “He is always looking to pass and that is why he doesn’t score as many as she should.”
Pvorby – Vunir Fedalori believes that the striker rotation is harming his chances of ever holding down a first-team spot.
Riagh Grande – Felix Harts says “Lack of concentration is costing this team the chance of winning. We can’t seem to hold our nerve when it matters, we need more leadership on the pitch, George Fenton was that leader but now there isn’t that forceful personality anymore.
Trinity Halmsed – The fans were in raptures about their first home win and Captain Tristan Gideon won rave reviews “It was nice to get the applause but I hope fans remember that when I have a bad game. This team is fired up now and we want to build towards something.”
Varmonde – Torian Glystel can be the best in the game according to Ene Losano “He has everything; pace, power skills and he is really ahead of his time in development.”
Wossen City – Jose Regulan had a great start to his Superleague career drawing 3-3 away to Kemo “If this is how the league is then I will have a heart attack every week. They showed tremendous courage but we can’t defend like that again. But with 3 red cards you can’t complain so it was good.”
Wossen Union – T-max is out for the next game with Lobby but Archer thinks he has plenty options, he still has a dilemma of how to get his strikers in on the act as only Sherston Casey has shown form.
Younes – sadly missed their centre backs at the weekend and crashed 2-0 to FER but Carl Hooper thinks his team had a chance to win the game. “They missed a penalty then we had a chance and blew it, then they had a man sent off and we blew it, then they had an injured player and we still blew it.”

Urbano - Teleo (Kinturia) 8/1
Porto Allegro (Corhabos) 10/1
Super- Danves (Caraba) 20/1
Driltim-Kavorsk (Servillae) 33/1
Lobby are just behind Dikal in the running for this group and we should see these two teams going through. There is an outside chance of Porto making the quarters but few surprises are expected.

Zanix Regria (Dharnia) 15/1
Athletic Cinsiora (UCL) 8/1
Athletico Sierra (Corhabos) 20/1
Asic Danves (Caraba) 25/1
Orient St. Clare (Liverne) 33/1
Zanix were the surprise champions of Dharnia breaking the dominance of the big 4 regional teams. Many of their players are unknown but will brighten up the tournament. Bondard aced the group stages last year winning 9 out of 10 games but flopped in the quarters. Cinsiora have been on a spending spree and should improve.
GROUP C
Fro-er-Riar (SL) 5/1
Salanura (Dharnia) 7/1
Xerco (UCL) 12/1
Santiago Juniors (Corhabos) 15/1
Regges (Vitallae) 11/1
Sugim (Catlenka) 25/1
FER are the current champions so the odd are short on them but they might fail to a similar fate to the previous champions and fail to retain their trophy. Salanura are a sure bet to get through to the next round but you wonder if they can win it. Regges pose an outside threat while Juniors are an unknown quantity.
GROUP D
Celdical AC (SL) 10/1
Dumula (Dharnia) 12/1
Carboneiri (Racenia) 20/1
Utilo Tabafero (Caraba) 4/1
Casena Stars (Vitallae) 8/1
Al-Traki (West Sandon) 33/1
Utilo are the overall favourites having lost the final last year and should make it through to the next round. Celdical come back after failing to qualify last year and should get through as well. Dumula and Casena present the biggest outside threat and should test any team.

Team news
Barki – Had an excellent win at home to Trinity, they face Pvorby next and have Saul Outher proving his worth. Top 4 is an excellent position.
Bondard – Last week they drew at Orto but Andy Rayne would see it as a good result, Caesar still hasn’t scored and might be rested. Away to varmonde is a hard fixture as they are good at home.
Carnavale – A stinging loss to Lobby at the weekend would rankle, as will the missed penalty from Cravell. They are away to Riagh and should be back in winning ways.
Celcostene – A hard won victory with their forwards clicking at last, 3 home wins already but Union are in home and smarting from the loss to Kemo
Celdical – Are proving they are better than their opening 2 losses suggest. Now it is 3 ground out wins on the bounce. The stern test of Ortovyde awaits them, Canivega scored to give them a win but most of their strikers are inconsistent.
FER – They can’t seem to close out games; they were 2-0 up for the second time this season they let it slip. Younes will be tough and defence-wise they need changes.
Garth – Peter Bray looks headed to Scaevor, the current boss can be happy but not with the lack of goals his side shows.
Kemojoran – A good win at home to Union got the fans back on side and now Carimo faces his old club City with their new manager.
Lobrinetonia – An excellent win away to Carna and Vallerio is the man of the hour with 4 in 4 starts. They face Garth without Sasha Stevens but should manage.
Mariners – A draw restored Pintare fortunes after a run of bad results, Younes were lucky to come away with a draw with only 9 men. Away to trinity is their next game.
Ortovyde - A draw at home to Bondard was a fair result, it was 4-4 and 2-2 last year but they need Larkowitz to start showing some form. Celdical host them at the weekend.
Pvorby – Kuxta came back from injury to inspire them at the Welson only to get injured again. Barki will bring power and muscle to the table.
Riagh Grande – Still are yet to win but the chairman insists Goff Heaney is safe in his job. Carnavale will come to town but are the favourites.
Trinity Halmsed – Another loss means they have had a poor start. None of the strikers are on form . they face Mariners next.
Varmonde – They had a great result away to FER and have one of the leagues form players in Abel Porcel. They face Bondard next but will be buoyed by their comeback from 2-0 down.
Wossen City – Finally sacked the hapless manager but few fans blames him so their misfortune. He was undermined by the board, we are led to believe that Jose Regulan is the unanimous choice so we should expect some support. They travel to Kemo next with Carimo wanting to defeat the team he built.
Wossen Union – The manner of the defeat away to Kemo was crushing, even more worrying was the reaction of the Union players. They play Celcostene but should have Sherston Casey back.
Younes – 1-1 was a great result at Mariners, they will have two suspensions for the red cards they got but Younes are looking plucky. FER will be their toughest test and they are trying to prove their worth after a terrible start to the season.
